LOST BOY IN WONDERLAND

“Wonderland is a state of mind, not a figurative place,”
Frigidanto Agung once said, as if speaking not to the room, but to something drifting just outside its walls.

And perhaps that’s the best way to enter Alexander Chris’s Lost Boy in Wonderland: not with your feet, but with your thoughts slightly ajar. Here, the world doesn’t unfold in a straight line. It loops, it falters, it doubles back. What was once a lonesome path, now a world of wonders, echoing dialogues.

Chris walks a path carved from history and philosophy, two subjects that, like long-lost pen pals, write to each other in silence. He reads between the lines, stitches the forgotten into forms. His canvas is a doorway for possibilities and pact of treaties with his own pride and ego.

A boy may be lost, but not without meaning.
